Dr. Sean Sellars, D.C.
Dr. Sellars received his chiropractic training from Life University in Marietta Georgia in 2001. After graduating he moved to Tampa Fl. where he had the opportunity to work with and help both pro and collegiate athletes from 2002 thru 2006. While practicing in Tampa he changed his focus to personal injury and is now a two-time graduate (2005 and 2017) from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, Inc. in the study of Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology. Dr. Sellars has been currently serving the Lee County community with chiropractic care and his knowledge of personal injury since 2006. In February of 2015 Dr. Sellars joined an amazing team at Specific Care Chiropractic and practices in the Lehigh Acres office. Over the years of practice, Dr. Sellars has continued to expand his educational knowledge and has attended many seminars to help his patients with today's ongoing expansion of chiropractic healthcare.
Dr. Mariangely Rivera, D.C.
Dr. Mariangely Rivera was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Rivera graduated from University of Puerto Rico at Cayey with a Bachelor of Natural Science Degree and then proceeded on to graduate from Palmer Collage of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Rivera graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2017. Dr. Rivera has been practicing at Specific Care Chiropractic in Lehigh Acres, Florida since 2017. She also has training from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego on Whiplash and Brain Traumatology. She has knowledge in treating whiplash cases and other injuries. Dr. Rivera is also pleased to offer chiropractic wellness care and maintenance of optimal well-being.
Dr. Ashley Peck McKenzie, D.C.
Dr. McKenzie began her career at a young age learning from her Father in his chiropractic office. Here is where she gained the desire to provide others the techniques to aid the body to heal itself. Her interests began to grow more in depth as she saw the benefits of chiropractic carry her through her career as a gymnast. In order to pursue her passion Dr. McKenzie studied at the University of Central Florida and earned her bachelors in Health Science, she then went off to further her knowledge at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. In 2018, Dr. McKenzie became a certified graduate of Whiplash Injury Biomechanics & Traumatology, Modules 1-4, by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, which is considered the most in-depth course educating healthcare professions on the aftermath of a whiplash injury. During this intensive course, Dr. McKenzie became familiar with the epidemiology of whiplash and brain injuries, the mechanical factors of motor vehicle crashes, and the wide range of physical injuries and clinical conditions that can occur. She is also a proud member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and American Medical Association. Dr. McKenzie’s mission is to provide her community with the highest standard of scientific and compassionate care to see her patients achieve their health goals.
